She throughly explained the process of buying and selling simultaneously and was there for us every step of the way. Joanne accompanied us on several open houses to get a better understanding of our needs and asked so many thoughtful questions that we would have never thought to ask sellers. She went above and beyond, scouting out neighborhoods and researching potential homes. Joanne contacted local builders and real estate agents to get ahead of the market and find homes that were not yet listed. This was a huge advantage for us and we were able to buy a home before it went on the market. Joanne arranged meetings and represented us in all communications with the builder. Her expertise in negotiating price with the seller was outstanding. When selling, Joanne arranged everything from painting a few rooms to staging the house for selling to meeting the buyers for the final walk through. She worked around our schedule and made the process seamless from beginning to end. She priced the house just right, had multiple offers within days of listing, sold above asking and negotiated a use and occupancy agreement so we could stay at the house until we closed on our new house. Over the past couple of years, I had gone through a handful of RE pros on my quest to purchase our first home. Maybe it was due to the insane volume in the market or maybe it was due to just how they conducted business (or maybe both), but the level of attention, care, detail, and service was always lacking. Consequently, one day, as I was off looking at a property myself (as my then-current RE broker said they couldn't/wouldn't go), I met Joanne at her showing. Exceptionally professional, effortlessly charming, and just a wonderful human being. We connected immediately, but, at the time, my search had slowed. We kept in touch though, and Joanne continued to reach out, remembering little details from our prior conversations. So, when the time came to again look more seriously, I called Joanne...and boy, am I glad I did. She took the time to learn more. She was thoughtful and extraordinarily helpful. She knew the right people and, if she didn't, she was able to connect with them very quickly. Because of Joanne working tirelessly and advising me correctly, I was able to find my home and close on it so easily. Even today, we keep in touch and she continues to be one of the most thoughtful professionals I have ever worked with.
